My mind is blown from the ability to get so “close” to the Wagner action, while sitting in comfort, at home. OpSec is just a different beast today. So many thoughts.

My only commentary about the situation is that when outpost win local hearts and minds, they can begin to develop a new sense of a unified identity, where local residents and troops become a bonded through war. This new sense of community causes confusion for the larger country that is fighting a battle….

A part of this view, my view, is incorrect in the sense that I did not take into account Wagner historical data. E.g. Africa and other mercenary activity.

Another observation, tempo of war shift via social media is eerily weird. During my initial cast to now, the feed has shifted from new information to constant repetitive information. Paired with time zones this makes complete sense. Just weird to feel these things with no “boots on ground” aka “skin in game”
