Learned today to not put my attention on my child when it’s not requested. A child’s attention is easily influenced and over-loving can cause the attention to be pulled in below par situations. To love the child is to be give it attention at just the right time, which is what makes it so difficult.

Always saddens me to see parents who make their whole life revolve around their kids which leads to this over attention. Parents need to peruse their purpose while incorporating the kids into the journey. Let’s the kids see a model of how to live well from close loving proximity. Not *easy* to do, but worthwhile trying to find the balance.
