I see this and I also see the disconnect. 

The team has been transparent since day 1 how channels would work as it moved towards decentralization, had even addressed squatting. 

OGs have seen it, they agreed with the process, consensus was made, then a whole batch of new people come in and lose all the context. 

Then the team is caught playing wak-a-mole because the newer cohorts see the behavior isolated away from all the past behavior. 

It’s a touchy dynamic because on one side, a team claims X as a long term vision, a user enters half way towards that vision, and claims the vision is a lie. 

It’s like fixing a plane while flying, except with humans being the airplane.
