You and me both. First year of schooling for my child taught me this. I keep asking, this shouldn’t be the norm? Or is it?

My contrarian view is our descendants will look back on this like we look back on rampant cholera in water. It’s a totally preventable and solvable issue that likely has worse long-term effects than we recognize, but it’s so normalized very few people question it. Surprising for me esp in tech circles.

School is a petri dish. Why would it be any different? My immune system needed the exercise, but damn. I've never had COVID. I have had everything else.
