over 2 years from writing these notes. I come back to obsidian with a different mind however similar opinions. I think I'm going to give obsidian a harder shot now because I am in the biggest compression of my life and I want 1 place that has word counts, download into a set structure, API/tools integrations capability, and all of me centralized af. 

Does this make sense? is obsidian where I get that?

Started this migration and feeling very optimistic.

Today we’re launching Robodocs — an AI assistant that turns your Google Drive into a Github profile.

It tracks and analyzes your writing, and gives you a Claude agent that automatically has access to your docs. 

Oh, and we built it in a week…

I just freaked out deleting old writings after migrating all of February 2024. I haven't even started any other month, of any other year, before or after. 

The aesthetic I'm getting from an alphabetize file structure is kinda cool.

Seeing the jump of writing from 2021 vs late-2022+. 

It’s really crazy. 

Another leap hits late-2023 early-2024. The time it hit my brain really hard was when I had a conversation with pfista feb2024.

Look at these cute dots and circles. 

153 files in, 860 more to go. 

35k words in, several hundred thousand more to go.

4 days since. 

+ 33 files
+ 5,748 words

Without transferring anything from other writings. No copy paste, all writings is human organic. 

At this pace, 1 year would puts me at ~500k words. It took me ~5years to get to 500k words since I started writing in 2019.

The flow that is emerging:

Write everything in daily notes page (same behavior as Roam)
Copy into individual essay at end of day.

i've begun adding new daily notes from scratch writing. I have begun having my brain molded to it more. I can feel the difference. I have some hangups on using backlinks, new links, links, and more links. I am really enjoying the new mental structure. as @wanderloots.eth calls it, 'digital gardening'. 

things will get better as I garden more i guess.

I was literally just searching this. I’m  really enjoying revisiting my writing and having a cool structure emerge. 

I want to know how to see all vault word count not just 1 note or folder.
