what’s the best way for a brand new user to organically grow on farcaster today? i have a friend who’s starting from near zero, and i found it difficult to recommend methods that didn’t require some pre-existing audience, and weren’t going to draw bots/farmers. any ideas?

I always tell people to just genuinely be yourself and have fun. It may not be the best growth hack but it’s not a bad one and it’s the best way to actually get something out of it.

that’s kinda what i’ve noticed. seems like the new algorithm heavily prioritizes power badges and those without the badge are reallyyyyy struggling to get any engagement at all

Being new was kinda nice 13 weeks ago… I just decide who I wanted to give my attention to and working my way up in the replies :,)

I wish I had gotten here earlier than March 26th lololol

Reply and make friends.  There is literally nothing else you can do that can match the speed of this. 

For some odd reason nobody ever believes that replying for days works… everyone always thinks there has to be something more complicated and more difficult but there isn’t

Sounds to me that bots/farmers are kind of like mosquitoes. Always going to be around. No matter how much repellant you use.

Picking the right channels for you ABs engage with people is the way to built yourself on the platform in my opinion

Reply with good authentic content. But the later is true. With that say with some creative method it’s possible. Try grabbing some farcards of your fav, Willard, Hypersub and join those community they are more likely to support you here.
