Perhaps I am merely broken, 
A faulty cog in time’s great wheel, 
Whirling lost, adrift in motion, 
Spilling strength in hollow errs. 
Better, perhaps, to yield to silence, 
To know that sometimes we are nothing, 
A piece meant to be cast aside, 
Yet kept for love, never forsaken.
