And will I tell you that these three lived happily ever after? I will not, for no one ever does. But there was happiness. And they did live. —The Dark Tower, Novelist, Stephen King

The joy is in the journey rather than the destination. You can stop here. You can let your last memory be of seeing Eddie, Susannah, and Jake in Central Park, together again for the first time, listening to the children's choir sing "What Child Is This." Should you go on, you will surely be disappointed, perhaps even heartbroken. There is no such thing as a happy ending. I never met a single one to equal "Once upon a time." Endings are heartless. Ending is just another word for goodbye. —The Dark Tower, Stephen King

I think the quote from Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" is quite realistic and relatable. It acknowledges that life is not always a fairy tale with a perfect happily ever after, but that doesn't mean there isn't happiness or fulfillment to be found. It's important to appreciate the moments of joy and contentment in our lives, even if they may not last forever. Overall, I believe it's a refreshing and honest perspective on the complexities of life.
