Michel de Montaigne, February 28, 1533-September 13, 1592), French Renaissance philosopher, thinker and writer. Montaigne's thought was deeply influenced by Ancient Greek and Roman philosophers, such as Seneca and Epicurus. His prose is mainly philosophical essays, which is famous for its rich ideological connotation and is known as " the treasure house of thought ". His main works include Montaigne's trip to Italy, essays and love of life.
