to all the artists affected today, know this:

farcaster is open to build on and the incentive opportunities here are also open to ANYONE wanting to reward ppl/communities here

do i believe degen will be here long term? yes

do i believe there will be MANY other opportunities to earn in fc’s economy? yes

this isn’t downplaying that artists were significantly impacted by this decision (likely unexpectedly by degen team) - and i think the szn 12 ban should be reversed while keeping the emissions cut

but my point is, the fc ecosystem itself is going to have tremendous opportunity bc of how fc is setup - an ownership based social network that any apps can tap, the TAM is literally the global economy

so, hopefully we see some reversals and change from degen, and again i do think degen will succeed, and find a way through this

and at the same time, we have to zoom out and see the massive opportunity unfolding here across the entire farcaster eco, of which degen is just a single piece

optimistic 🌱

I believe theres always another opportunity and we are still early 🫡

I'm all for the fact that reducing emissions a bit was necessary, it's healthy for the economy, but the rest of the actions were wrong. I will continue to hold  $DEGEN, it is an investment, I don't have much "Allowance" really, down 4 more times, so, no way, let's see if this all blows up.

So do i. Hahhaa my allownace also down a lot but i dont depend to much on degen nowaday tho. Gotta have some more alternative. Its crypto so cant depend too much on 1 project. Anw everything will be ok when price go up

Fortunately, I also don't rely too much on $degen, but it did really help, and you are right with the reduction of emissions and long term headlines, I hope the price doesn't depreciate and rather increase.

What other projects are you in, I want to diversify more, I will of course do my own research hehe.
