It can use the SSD as swap right? Makes it more important to get the 512gb or more

Ah, I’m not sure how macOS does swap. I know the SSDs are crazy fast, so if the OS handles swap seamlessly then yeah might not be an issue 🤔

Thermal throttling is more of an issue, I am still considering doing the heat pad hack for the m2 air. But I’m not using it for compiling so I haven’t needed to On the m1 adding the extra pad made the air perform as well as a fan cooled m1 Only downside is the bottom gets so hot it breaks EU law ;-)
