I feel like it depends because if you have the time having more moving pieces can be quite fun but it comes with more of a learning curve where as cards are quick with slightly less depth

I lean toward ones with more things but I love the idea of a tight well Made game that has less than 20 cards. One day I will invent one. Coup is a good example
