Base network, just like many second layer networks, has low fees and high speed. Transactions in this network are processed off-chain (outside the main chain). Also, this network is compatible with EVM; Therefore, developers can easily use Ethereum-based tools and Solidity language to develop their applications. The scalability of the second layer in Base is much higher than Ethereum; Of course, Base Network also uses Bedrock Optimism's upgrade, which itself uses EIP4844.
