The cryptocurrency market repeated its previous pattern after the White House quickly denied a report that the tariffs would be delayed, and traders’ optimism was short-lived. US President Donald Trump announced that a 25% tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada would be imposed starting February 1. Bitcoin (BTC), which had reached more than $106,000, fell 2% after the news, and the US stock market also lost some of its gains.
