OpenAI CEO Sam Altman promised two weeks ago that the o3-mini model would be released “within weeks,” and now o3-mini is available as scheduled starting today; OpenAI has added its latest reasoning model to ChatGPT and the platform’s API services, and has also provided a limited daily trial version for free ChatGPT users.
