Are you all still thinking about some kind of decoding standard that could be consumed by others? Feels like this is growing increasingly relevant with duplicated efforts to decode everywhere

We have our own standard and it's all open and can be reused by people. No resources or incentives for our small team to do anything further.

Yeah, that's fair. Even doing that is admirable. Just wondering if a more published, reusable and open standard would make things easier for everyone.

I totally understand! rotki is opensource and you or anyone can contribute to making the quite extensive decoding mechanism into a standard. But to be honest it's a lot of work, with no direct benefit and no funding to do it. So being realistic I don't see it ever happening.
