From the next release, you’ll be able to send ETH and tokens directly from inside the app. No more switching wallets, apps, tabs

And it's not sudden, always been the plan to consolidate actions in the app. It opens a whole new world of possibilities and makes user's lives easier by allowing them to keep doing stuff in rotki and not having to jump to the browser or another tab to do something they can just do from within it
