For two days now we have switched from ~10-20gwei to 60-80 gwei being the average gas price in ethereum mainnet.

Gas burner data seem to indicate normal defi (mostly uniswap) swaps being the main source of activity.

Anybody knows why this change?

I think this is due to high user activity and high network load. Please note that at night or early in the morning or on weekends the gas is significantly low

It’s all the shitcoin trading see. People are trying to make an honest buck

Airdrop stakers. Eigen woke up and chose to open its gates for a week. 

Hopefully it will go back to 10s because aint have spare $50 to pay for each swap.
