When you pay for premium the chain history of rotki only starts from when you paid for premium and it doesn't go all the way back

That's not correct. The chain history is 100% full. Same for history of CEXes and anything else you do. Otherwise rotki would not work 😅 

You are probably referring to the historical graph of netvalue and asset value. Those are created from balance snapshots at the moment as this is the most accurate representation of one's net worth at a time.

We have a feature request to also recreate the graph historically (which is less accurate), but this is not done yet. It's queued to be done soon and Yabir will pick it up as this would indeed be a good addition.
