im not a communist but i moved to vietnam and it was awesome, better quality of life than USA. it was extremely hard to do, it only worked because i was a self employed sole prop and relatively rich, and it fell apart when i came back to USA for a marriage certificate and got covid locked down in USA for >1y so i just stayed in short, ive done it, it was great, and no, communists shouldn't have to do it, no offense but i really hate this question, super shortsighted leaving your home isn't easy, takes a ton of resources (or a real immediate threat), disrupts every part of your life (social, work, medical) also id never become a full citizen there, no matter what i do, so it's a significant blow to your social status (being an immigrant/tourist anywhere is second tier, period) but nobody should have to leave their home just because they disagree with their neighbors. everyone on earth (and most especially in USA) has the right to try to make their immediate surroundings reflect their values.

i dont think extracting value from a capitalst culture to go be rich in a poor communist one is exactly what i was talking about it just strikes me that effecting change within a system you believe in is one thing, trying to take one away from everyone else who is enjoying it is entirely another of course everyone has a right to effect change around them its just a bit wild to me that so many people in a massive minority feel the need to impose themselves on a majority who are actually having a pretty good time im picking on communism but religion is probably a worse offender. We just don't have any theocracies left... i guess maybe the vatican i dont know much there the irony of course, is that freedom you're talking about is a fairly western capitalist idea. so these people who are stanning communism very frequently are either purposefully or absentmindedly attempting to take that right away from the people that have it
