also from a short term and anecdotal perspective i don't believe trump loses the election, nor does it really matter for where btc is going or altcoins this cycle 

people tend to forget the effects of an ATH break

could it have a material effect on alts long term/talent pool in this space? yes

in this scenario does this stop people from buying coins? probably not for the timeframe we'd care about assuming btc is in price discovery, maybe im wrong about this though
