Give Ueno a shot, right next to the train station, you’ll find tons of shops with good prices if you’re on a budget. There’s a store called Hands Off that sells second-hand clothes, and near from there, there’s Beaver—a bit pricier but full of amazing pieces from small Japanese fashion brands. For traditional gifts, Asakusa is the spot. You can find old shops that sells scissors, knifes, and cool workwear. If you’re into higher-end fashion or home goods, definitely check out Shibuya Parco.
