I got into marketing 15 years ago next month because of advertising— because I watched superbowl commercials and some of them were so good that they made me feel a way. Nike is great at that. Their commercials make you want to go be an athlete. 15 years later with the adoption of AI, and the acceleration of it all, good emotion evoking commercials and advertisements are becoming a thing of the past. Or at least they’re being crowded out by the sheer volume of assets that can be generated from a prompt. Maybe I’m a dinosaur, a relic of the past. But I miss the good commercials. I hope in web3, some of that can survive.
