the hat stays on, but be wary when you see a situation giving people “$farther vibes.” it was a similar ideology, that you shouldn’t tip friendlies; gigamesh tried installing and the thing collapsed in a few weeks. 🎩🪄

👀🙃 jeeezzz J! A bit gloom & doom over some noise? Or is there a degen revolt? I listened to the Twitter space earlier and I think Jacek is doing it for the right reasons, while some people are allow to be upset but then get upset at the spam ranking from Farcaster? I read the farther vibes earlier and didn’t feel it but when u put this way lol 😅😅 … I guess the difference is the farther crew at that time were able to fled to degen … where would degens fly to? Ham or higher? 👀 And as far as I remember gigamesh was open to DAO Farther but everyone fled, people want rewards for low effort work not hard work. That’s the problem not degen! 💜🎩

I think the changes are in the right direction, but there is a clause in there about "reciprocity" of tips, that some people had an overlap where 60% of their tips were reciprocated with the same people. as a result, tons of people on the timeline are banned and pissed about it, and of course ready to sell their holdings. this is basically exactly what $farther started doing, people were unable to tip friends - and it became stricter and stricter - and in one Season it collapsed. I love Degen and am not planning on selling, but if you look through the channel there are many people saying it gives them 'farther vibes.' that is not good!
