I recently read this "If you don't organize around real time trends + community you won't have a business in 3 years" this was meant towards western fashion brands but had me thinking: As we move toward that future, we’re in a constant race with technology. As AI advances and replaces human labor, especially in creative fields, individuals must find their tribes to stay connected and not only relevant but also inspire. Prada certainly didn’t need Versace! specially not for $1.2billion. The only path to profit would be to cheapen the brand, taking it further upscale would likely mean reporting losses for years; which could be another capital loss deduction play, I said another si ne we just saw Elon eliminate $11 billions of of X for a capital loss deduction but acquiring Versace makes the Prada tribe bigger. What’s your tribe?
