Studies show that green vegetables have positive effects on the brain because they contain an abundance of lutein. Lutein has antioxidant and neuron-protective properties and therefore strengthens cognitive abilities. Dark green vegetables such as spinach, broccoli and kale are richer in this aspect. Studies show that the higher the level of lutein, the better the cognitive test results and the thicker the gray cortex of the brain.

Incorporating green vegetables into the diet can significantly benefit brain health. The lutein in these vegetables not only enhances cognitive abilities but also may slow down age-related cognitive decline
