I know it's often hard to see yourself as a victim but, after some recent cases in Brazil I decided to come here and remind you all that, if it's not consented, it's not sex. It's rape. And it doesn't matter if it's within or without a relationship.

Fuck this hits hard. I know a few months ago @fercaggiano was talking about her story and it brought up old wounds from me as well. It’s really sad to say that there are so many scars that still may never be healed. I was living in Cali at the time and even confronted the person I was hooking up with and they lied about it. It doesn't matter if you are seeing them if they take advantage it is still rape without concent of the other party.

I understand you. I also have so many scars... they will never heal. Some I can talk about, some I think it'll take a while more? It's hard to see myself in a victim position and i've been fighting with it for 6 to 9 years now.. Yes, taking advantage still makes it rape and it should be called by its name. We shouldn't be quiet about it. I've heard a bit about @fercaggiano story and it also hit me a lot. I feel the triggers. It's hard even to read, but silence isn't helping any of us so i'm so proud when we get to have such shares. Because it makes us stronger. We can't go back in time but we can help prevent and/or stop other cases. 100 $WILD
