It also definitely has a gritty side no doubt and I wouldn't have felt safe alone not speaking Spanish. That would have been no bueno I don't think, but with 2 Colombians on my side it was super fun as I didn't have to worry about anything haha!

colombian spanish is the most charming of latam! i can’t even think about it 🤪 but they speak too fast and im pretty sure even with basic spanish i’d be a bit worried? i need colombian friends 😭
