The worst business decision of all time? Ethereum gave users 90% of the value … and kept almost nothing.
Tarun Chitra explains why ETH is pivoting hard, but will it be enough to reclaim what it gave away? https://unchainedcrypto.com/podcast/ethereum-gave-away-too-much-for-too-long-will-its-pivot-be-enough/

Was this supposed to be a debate? Max Resnick is a vocal critic of the Ethereum roadmap, made more rabid by his decision to publicly switch to Solana. Tarun is the most tepid ETH bull you could find. Not exactly a fair fight. Or is this just rage bait for clicks?

It was not supposed to be a debate. Also, accusing me of trying to create rage bait for clicks is a lazy criticism. I actually wanted to know what critics pre-pivot thought of the pivot. That is a question worth asking.

I’ve been listening to your show for 4 years Laura. I’ve read the Cryptopians. I know you are capable of good journalism. But to my mind you’ve lost the journalistic balance that allows me as a listener to approach an episode like this in good faith. It’s disingenuous to claim Solana has more new developers than Ethereum while discounting new L2 developers that work exclusively on top of Ethereum. You can’t interrupt and push back on Ethereum advocates like Justin Drake or Vivek Raman while allowing critics like Resnick and the Chopping Block VCs to rant unchecked and claim to be presenting a balanced perspective. Reread the first line of your cast about this episode; does that sound like the no hype resource for all things crypto? Maybe it’s audience capture and not deliberate. But it’s definitely diminished the show in my eyes as an impartial high quality resource.
