My understanding is that either:

- BTC transaction volume needs to scale with price AND double at each halving.
OR
- BTC transaction price needs to scale with price AND double at each halving.

Or else the security model falls apart. The SOV narrative only made this worse. We need big transaction volume to save BTC.

what's more interesting to me is that if the king gets eth tooling, there is so much liquidity to unlock. it might get crazy in btc ecosystem this cycle. similar to defi summer 2020 on eth when uniswap triggered a wave.
