The most obvious use case for interop, IMO, is the laundry list of integrations that blockchains need to get an ecosystem going. For instance, deposits & withdrawals to centralized exchanges, on/off ramps, native stablecoin issuance, price feeds, token bridges, etc. Launch a chain & interop with one which has these.

It would be incredible if then you'd found pooled funded solutions to local on/off-ramping solutions so that not only one ecosystem needs to cover the costs associated to it.
