observation: the people i knew who were here back in the heyday earlier this year of degen and frame mania etc etc left the platform NOT because the price of $degen went down (as is the commonly cited narrative nowadays), but, in fact, directly in response to the power badges being implemented. is it possible that the narrative about user decline being bc everyone was just here for the money/chash grab and then dioped out is AT LEAST only a half-truth, and serves to obsure the truth that would point to another culprit that still continues to exist in the form of the dev teams continued preoccupation with “spam filtering” and moderation as the number one priority? thoughts?

I was just looking for a place to do art and only discovered the web 2 or 3 months ago, and maybe you are right that they left because the badge was removed,The problem is that I followed him and after I checked his following, he had not been active for a month. In my opinion, money will flow by itself if goodness and honesty are carried out, for example, now everyone is chasing moxie, lots of comments are getting lost everywhere.

there was this magical time here, once upon a time, when ppl just had alot of fun playing around with all the neat tech you could do on here and noone worried about being marked a spammer or farming moxie or living in fear of getting their power badge removed. it was fkn awesome
