Yalda Night, also known as Shab-e Chelleh, is one of the oldest Iranian celebrations held on the last night of autumn and the beginning of winter. This night is the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

History:
The roots of Yalda Night go back to ancient times and the Mithraic rituals. Ancient Iranians, with the belief that after this long night, the days would become longer and the sunlight would triumph over darkness, celebrated with feasts and festivities.
