Seeking feedback for this Farcaster music app I've been brainstorming on.

The integration would initially be pretty light since access will be token gated but I'd love if it could be a way to get more musicians using Farcaster.

How would the token gating actually work? Would the music itself have to be stored outside of Farcaster?

We need a protocol similar to Farcaster that can serve as home for all the new music being produced worldwide. Imagine all the cool music clients that devs could build. Seems like the only way to truly break free from the monopolistic control exercised by Spotify, YouTube, Apple, and major record labels.

Yea separate backend infra. It will be pretty centralized & wouldn’t necessarily need crypto or FC to work but I think it will make it more interesting.
