Nature took care of the roe deer and gave them a spotted camouflage that hides the babies well in the pockmarked green of the summer grass. And nature has also muted the smell of roe deer: the sweat glands of roe deer almost do not secrete secretions, predators can pass nearby and not even smell the baby. Roe deer calves are born in late May-early June sighted and with excellent hearing. The first minutes of life they are still weak, but after an hour they can walk several meters. The female feeds the babies 3-4 times a day; for another month, the roe deer mostly lie in the shelter.
