Nobody should wait 7 days to bridge base eth to mainnet. Apparently you can transfer back and forth to/from coinbase and binance, just be sure to select the correct chain and also it seems this external bridge is faster. https://portalbridge.com/advanced-tools/#/transfer Also works for Solana and many other chains.
