It's becoming more important. I definitely been loser and more authentic on Warpcast than other socials, things like swearing when it makes sense, being more vocal about opinions, and leaning into my inner weirdness because only my fellow nerds were here. I felt free to be expressive, because I figured my students' parents or future employers were unlikely to see my casts and judge me unfairly for out of context sarcasm or whatever. I definitely like the idea of Warpcast expanding, but I like my safe nerdcore bubble.
