opening your doors too freely as a woman with talent & ambition is the most dangerous thing one can do.

look at what happened to Selena, look what happened to Amy Whinehouse, look what happened to Aaliyah. it’s better to be generally suspicious of intention, than to assume those around you who see your light have the best intentions just for them to actually want you dead for their own gain.

i’ve made my fair share of mistakes as well… and Alhamdullah i’m healthy but i’ve experienced really traumatic things because i did not take sex seriously enough.. and by laying down next to a snake, it gave him full access to my energy 
that man tried to literally sabotage me out of jealousy (he was an artist too) i was too empathetic.. but i will never ever allow for that again. that’s a promise to myself. 

but yeah, focus on your arts c: 
that’s going to take you so far Mika, and i know it’ll align you with a dream boat who adds nothing but love & eases your life by solving all the problems that distract you from your art

I made my mistakes and i am now being super careful, obviously i am still a fucking hoe cant lie buttttt there is a big difference between letting yourself be vulnerable in a romantic way then just stupid sexual connections. Just keeping in mind that my priorities is being locked in on arts and maybe one day a man can empower that but lmao i dont think any time soon
