the reason why i have boycotted twitter for 7 years now is because i was kinda twitter famous from ages 14-17..

it got weird & caused me to develop a fear of being seen online. it’s easier to navigate through weird online environments now.. & i’m grateful for younger me to survive the pedo-filled angry trenches of twitter.

creepiest and one of worst things was i had this GROWN woman who would ALWAYS comment on how big my nose is & call me a bird 

and then once i posted a mirror pic of me in a dress and there was a group of guys dissecting my body’s shape because there was a mirror next to me and “my body looked different from the side than it does the front” 

and then the last straw was group chats

Early social media was a weeeeiiird time. It still is but at least it’s somewhat moderated for children
