Vision Pro

- I was completely wrong on how successful it would be (not $, but usage / mindshare)

- First time since Jobs left that I do wonder if Apple is cooked and is just coasting on the established moats

- Vertical integration doesn't make up for BDFL taste

- Scott Forstall was a bigger loss for Apple than Jony Ive

from a VR enthusiast perspective,

the Apple Vision Pro was nothing more than a goggle version of the iPhone. it had a \momentary\ lil short minute in fashion when it first launched, but it didn’t even really last as a fashion statement. 
vs.
The Oculus can be used for *REAL* gaming, painting, consuming 360* media, but most importantly for me: it simplified the 3D modeling process. I know a few of car & product designers currently using Gravity Sketch to design cars & sneakers.

it’s a game changing tool. 

Apple vision pro provides no tactical or beneficial use that improves anything...? the best Apple product on the market right now is the headphones. that has longevity. i knew the Vision Pro would be a flop the minute i tried it on and realized it literally doesn’t do anything profound? 

when i first tried on my Oculus, i literally lost my mind. it truly was the mind blowing, i need to fall back in love with my oculus.
