Never seen an opinion against signing/approving transactions for bitcoin, but a lot of opinions on the same thing in the context of other consumer crypto products. Is clicking a button really that hard? So hard it's gonna turn people away?

I agree, and it is important to distinguish actions by their “weight”. If you’re talking about web3social, reactions/likes need to be frictionless indeed. Products like web3game need onchain actions: transactions, volumes, transparent interactions with various contracts. Only then they actually exist onchain

Liking a post is different than the complexity involved in executing international money wiring. Users have different levels of tolerance for the number of buttons they will click to do one vs. other.
