My favorite soup ingredient that I’ve discovered this year is radish. I use them in nearly all of my soups now. 

I personally prefer Asian radishes (usually Japanese or Korean) over other varieties, but any will do! Adds a unique flavor that I can’t go without now :)

I would start with beef and radish soup. E.g. this one https://youtu.be/vG07DHeNH9c 

If you don’t have beef, you can leave it out. I made one yesterday with beef broth, onions, garlic, ginger, radish, mushrooms, green onions, and a little bit of soy sauce and salt. Let it cook for a while until I liked the taste :)
