It was largely an Egyptian mess-up related to the Arab-Israeli conflict and subsequent arrangements. Palestine must only be formed on the West Bank, and for both Israel and Palestine, issues like Jerusalem, security guarantees, refugee rights, and mutual recognition must be agreed on. Less hate and more cooperation. The EU must also support a single, not multi-location, problematic Palestine.
