Once in a while, I remember that I took up painting (hand painting) shortly last year and realised it’d been sitting in me all this while. Was a short stint but once in a while, I wonder if it’s still got room for me.

I’m thinking about the lady on YouTube who took Margaret Atwood’s Creative Writing Masterclass, and Margaret Atwood who talked about the fear of writing, and I’m thinking about how many times it was really the fear of writing holding us back and not the sudden lack of creativity, which we have so fashionably called writers block.
