appreciation

i appreciate that i just went on a date with my partner. since our daughter was born, it has been hard for us to connect again, to find time together. to sit down and have a casual conversation. to have fun just for the sake of it. and today was one of those days, and we reconnected on a way that i missed. and i ate a fucking great hamburger. it was great. and im ending a period of not drinking alcohol and smoking weed, after three months, and i feel celebratory. I celebrate life. i celebrate this moment.
