Thanks to @rocketpilot I've come across a super cool dashboard tool to track onchain metrics. We were discussing different metrics important to valuing DEX tokens like UNI, CAKE, AERO, and others. After taking a look at fees over several time periods, Uniswap (Uniswap + Uniswap Labs) lead the way every time with Aerodrome being second. However when you look at revenue, Aerodrome dominates the rest of the market. So what this means is that in aggregate, Uniswap users pay more fees and less of that money goes back to the protocol as revenue whereas Aerodrome retains more of the fees paid by users as revenue to the protocol.
