my first job was 14 years old at a 80/90 tollroad plaza McDonalds in Indiana
I made probably something like $14k a year, and it sucked ass
I got bullied by the trash kids who worked there in my first week, they dumped a 5 gallon bucket of water on me while i was doing dishes in the back sink, they eventually liked me though because I was funny

My first job I made $46K as a research associate at the Institute for Security Technology Studies @ Dartmouth College.  

I had no friends and never left the lab. 

I wasn’t happy with life but I loved doing research.xx
