Farcaster is uncensored, yet people are nice to each other (even over politics) Reddit is heavily moderated, yet most are rude Why? For the same reason a dog doesn't shit in his own cage. Farcaster users don't want to lower the social value of the UID that they own. all we have is each other.

Moderation as a cause instead of a reaction is a bad way to think of it. As stuff gets more mainstream more trolls come and ruin discourse, that's when moderation comes in. So to answer your question it's because farcaster is not mainstream enough to attract low quality posters, minus my shitposts of course.
