On Sunday I'm going to San Francisco for the first time ever. Heard so much negative stuff about it on the pod. What should I expect (as a European)?

The negative is greatly exaggerated, but that said, don't leave anything valuable in your car after your park it. If you're scared of poverty avoid the neighborhoods by city hall. Definitely visit golden gate park, lands end park, the presidio and if you're into touristy stuff, fisherman's wharf.
