We did it! Other than the judges, which is a huge bummer, it looks like we cleaned out the DCCC and got some solid props passed. Let’s fucking Grow(SF)™️

Super bummed growth of SF seems to mean expand the police state to spy on us and be more cruel to the homeless and druggies, but I suppose the city sold its soul to tech billionaires.

Genuinely curious, do you think SF has been getting better or worse over the past 5 years?

I get I'm a political minority, but I think it's stayed the same. We were going to face the bullwhip effect and accelerated income inequality eventually. It just sucks how to the right SF is going because of it.

For me, the previous politicians have talked a big game on housing and helping the poor but have done nothing but block housing at every turn to line their own pockets / real estate portfolios. So i’m for change, period. Also, I don’t think drug tourism is good, and I don’t like that SF is the capital of it.

I hate to break it to you, but no one is gonna do anything on housing aside from give tax subsidies to developers. As long as money controlls elections and housing is an investment instrument no one is gonna change anything. That leaves using the police to displace the homeless as the option going forward.

Well this is something we’re just going to have to agree to disagree on 🍻 Wiener has been good on housing. And even CA has been better in housing lately, and SF has been hostile against the state.
